LIFE MANAGEMENT REALITY: THE MISSING LINK!

In the last edition of the 2013 SUCCESS HABITS series, I mentioned an important part of human life and it was clearly defined as A CRITICAL FACTOR. No doubt, this New Year should be embraced with some of the lessons still fresh in our minds.

Another season has come and indeed it feels great to be part of it. I sincerely appreciate the time you invest in reading every article posted on this blog. Believe me, that you are reading this month edition gives testament to the fact that you deserve the honour. Thank YOU!

Now, let us begin by considering these INSPIRATIONAL NUGGETS:

    

Of course, they do look familiar except for ONE… ‘Raise the BEST’. Over the years, several terms have been used to qualify this unpopular note. In corporate terms, it is referred to as SUCCESSION PLAN, LEADERSHIP BUILDING & DEVELOPMENT, among others.

More than the identified terminologies carefully used above, the task of raising the best is a call to function in a capacity that spreads beyond the ‘Business As Usual’ syndrome…

To succeed in the year 2014, I support that you should DO YOUR BEST. Do your best to see every task completed. Do all you can to ensure the dreams become a reality. Do everything possible to make sure that your team succeeds, even if someone else will eventually take all the glory for the effort. It is one key to being exceptional in everything you do.

Practically, what you give can determine what you receive.  It is possible to do your best and not GIVE YOUR BEST. To give your best means to go one more round when it looks like all your strength has gone. Do this when you feel there is nothing else to be done. Sincerely, you may not need to set so many goals for yourself this year. Just make up your mind to give your best to the few you have on your list.
